Everything at the market must be produced by market members themselves. The market is primarily oriented towards locally-grown and locally-processed food products. Handicrafts are not allowed, but non-food items that incorporate the products of members’ farms, such as yarn and skin care products, may be considered.
How to apply
Read the Market Rules and the Market By-Laws, linked below. These documents will help you to understand how the market operates and what is expected of all members. Then, download and complete the Market Vendor Application.
If you have further questions, send an email to bangorfarmersmarket@gmail.com.
We accept cash, SNAP/EBT, credit/debit cards and Bumper Crop gift certificates.
Stop by the info booth to swipe your card and get tokens you can use with any vendor! Many vendors also accept credit/debit cards right at their stands, and many produce vendors accept WIC Farmers’ Market Checks..
If you use SNAP, ask about our bonus Maine Harvest Bucks for fruits and vegetables.
We partner with the Maine Federation of Farmers' Markets to provide Maine Harvest Bucks.
